Health, Wellness And Longevity

During the Covid pandemic I developed a health routine, to protect myself from the virus – How I Protect Myself From Viral and Spike Protein Shedding, reposted below.

Instead of vaccination, I chose to focus on healthy eating habits and keeping my immune system in top shape. I remained healthy throughout the pandemic, while I was watching those, vaccinated around me falling ill.

This health routine isn’t only effective for preventing viral infection, but also for Health and Wellness. Longevity is a natural result of general health.

My health protocol has 4 distinct parts, daily nutrition, supplements, herbs and detox. Since I made this public two years ago, I have made some changes to it. Those changes are noted at the end of each section in blue.

How I Protect Myself From Viral and Spike Protein Shedding

Viral shedding is the process of expulsion of a virus from the body into the environment, where it can lead to infections, a “person to person” transmission. Covid vaccines are non-sterilizing, that means they don’t kill SARS-CoV-2, that is why vaccinated persons can also transmit the virus.

Although the steadily expanding vaccine mandates across the US were justified by the alleged reduction of infection rates, the CDC itself admitted, that viral loads – an indication of transmissability – were the same in both vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Both the mRNA vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna and the traditional adeno vector jabs, J&J and Astrazeneca are designed to enter the cells and adopt the cell’s protein manufacturing machinery to produce trillions of spike proteins.

The spike proteins are known pathogens, that circulate through the body, frequently causing inflammation and blood coagulation. Like the virus, the spike proteins can be shed by inoculated persons, leading to infections.

My personal protection routine includes 4 lines of defenses.

  1. Daily Nutrition
  2. Supplements
  3. Herbs
  4. Detox

Daily Nutrition

Our innate immune system is amazingly efficient, when we experience optimal health. That is the reason why children don’t get sick as often, or heal from a disease, like covid with a 99.997% recovery rate. Our immune system can be strengthened at any age through daily nutrition, provided by a healthy diet.

That basically means reducing processed foods and eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. I described my eating habits in this post: The 98% Diet.

One of the effects of increased nutrition is elevated glutathione (GSH) levels. Glutathione is a “master antioxidant”, that protects the body against free radicals and oxidative stress. Oxidation causes the degeneration of cells, thus aging. Glutathione levels decrease as we age:

Glutathione is essential for proper immune system function, a study revealed, that glutathione deficiency was what resulted in serious covid cases and deaths. Sulfur containing cruciferous vegetables, such as brussel sprouts, kale, broccoli and others are the best plant sources for glutathione.

Supplements

Even with a healthy diet, taking in every vitamin and mineral daily is challenging. I prefer supplements, that are dehydrated fruits and vegetables, because they are completely natural.

One of the supplements I take, is made from cruciferous vegetables, which as mentioned, are high in glutathione. For preventing viral infection, or viral replication, vitamin C, D and Zinc are particularly important.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, the “DV”, or daily value is 75 mg (f) / 90 mg (m). The fruits and vegetables, included in my diet, provide several times the DV. Peppers are rich in vitamin C, the two mini peppers shown on the image weighing 1.8 oz, contain 106 mg!

I live in the California desert, where there are plenty of sunny days even wintertime, so getting vitamin D isn’t a problem. However, supplements are recommended for anyone, that doesn’t get sufficient exposure to the sun.

I do take Zinc supplements and B12. My diet is almost completely plant based and low on B12 – although meat eaters have also been found deficient.

I also take N-acetyl-L-cysteine, or NAC. L-Cysteine is a sulphur containing amino acid and an important structural component in creating proteins.

As discussed previously, glutathione is the most important antioxidant for overall health and longevity. It is also made in the liver and L-cysteine is a precursor to glutathione production, thus taking NAC helps increasing GSH levels.

Herbs

The protrusions on the surface of the virus are called spike proteins. The virus infects the host cells by binding to the ACE2 receptors on the cell membrane with its spike protein. If the receptor binding is blocked, the virus is unable to enter the cells and replicate.

A German university study found, that dandelion leaf extract prevented SARS-CoV-2 spike protein from attaching to the ACE2 surface receptors. The extract was also found to be effective against covid variants.

You read that right, a weed, that grows in the cracks of the sidewalk, that homeowners eradicate each year using toxic chemicals, can protect us from Covid. Dandelion leaf extract is available in liquid form, that can be taken with water, or added to food, or dandelion tea can be made using using plant’s leaves.

A compound, called suramin, found in pine needles is effective against viral replication and blood coagulation. Pine needles have been used by indigenous cultures around the world against various diseases, for thousands of years.

Tea, made with pine needles is a powerful antioxidant and high in vitamin C. Some pine trees, like the norfolk pine and ponderosa are toxic, so exercise caution. The eastern white pine and the red pine are suitable for consumption.

Stinging nettle is an herb with so many benefits, I’d run out of space, listing them. Every part of the plant, the roots, the stem, the leaves and the flowers are of value. While I have not found a study on nettle’s effect on SARS-CoV-2, with a powerful herb like this, biochemical pathways for prophylaxis likely do exist.

All three of these plants, pine needle, dandelion and nettle are available in tea bags online, or in stores. I drink 1-2 cups a day, taking turns with them. Making ice tea is another possibility.

Detox

Our immune system and its components, the white blood cells, antibodies, T-cell’s, lymphocytes, macrophages and more, can be likened to an army. When there are toxins, heavy metals and inflammation in our bodies, a part of this protective force is diverted to deal with those. Removing toxic substances allows our immune system to operate at a 100% efficiency.

Epsom salt baths are an affordable and effective detox method. Epsom salt isn’t actually salt, it is magnesium sulfate. Sulfates have the ability to draw out toxins from the body. The Epsom salt I use also contains essential oils, they provide wonderful scents and more healing benefits.

Make the water really hot and add 1-2 cups of epsom salt. Stay in the bath for 20-30 minutes. I drink plenty of water afterward and rinse off later on, this way more minerals are absorbed from the Epsom salt. I do this 2-3 times a week,

Clay baths are another way to detox. Clay is negatively charged and it is able to draw positively charged heavy metals out of the body. It can also be taken internally, but that requires “food grade” clay. Pharmaceutical grade clay is used in skin care, or for detox baths. The image shows a jug of my clay drink, I take 2-3 tablespoon per day.
