How I Finally Admitted My White Privilege

I was in denial about it. When asked if I was a racist, like most people, I responded no. No one wants to believe they are racist, but structural racism is so deeply embedded in our society, it is not easy to detect.

Luckily, there are people, much smarter than me, who are racism experts, like Ibram X Kendi*. He wrote the book: “How To Be An Antiracist”.

Kendi is a brilliant philosopher, who has revealed, that everyone is racist and we live in a white supremacist culture. Everything we do is motivated by racism, we just don’t know it.

When confronted with my racism, I denied it. This was evidence of my racism. When I got upset at the accusation, I revealed my white fragility. When I became angry, it was my white rage and my refusal to discuss it, proved my white pride.

White supremacy is so ingrained in our culture, it’s all around us.

I didn’t know that soap dispensers were racist. A UCLA student claimed during a debate, that they “force black and brown bodies to show their palms”, the only light areas of the skin, in order to get the soap out.**

Traffic lights are also racist. That’s because the outline of the man showing, when it’s OK to cross the street, is white.

Trees are racist, too. There is an existing tree inequality in this country.

The English language was also invented to enforce white superiority. Words like light and dark are veiled racism.

Walking a dog is also proof of systemic racism. “Last night, while on my walk, Bean and I crossed paths with an older White woman and her French bulldog.”

Beer is racist too. ““after the 10th beer festival you’ve been to where it is a bunch of pretzel-necklaced white dudes with beards and potbellies, it gets kind of old, you know?” – writes University of New Mexico professor Eli Wilson.

Beethoven and other classical composers are also racists, classical music is a sign of white supremacy.

Ironically, the name of the University of Massachusetts college professor, who made that claim is Christoper White. Good Grief! That’s not diverse!

How about combining both? This must be the ultimate recreational racism!

The way white people walk, is also racist. “White people walk awkwardly on sidewalks because of their internalized racism”.

Even being nice and polite to one another is proof of systemic racism. Two professors*** at the University of Northern Iowa asked students what they considered to be civil behaviour. Those who said they treated everyone the same, were accused of “reproducing white racial power”.

It is quite a learning experience isn’t it?

So, do I have white privilege? I do, it was an absolute privilege to immigrate to the US, make the most of the opportunities this great country has to offer (started working for $4 per hour in 1989) and now live the American dream, as a result. This is a privilege everyone has, living in the United States.

Ibram X. Kendi, Robin D. Angelo****, Alan Sharpton and their ilk are race hustlers, they made their careers out of racism and they need racism to thrive.

Their work consists of teaching people a victim mentality. It is a lucrative business, there is an entire “grievance industry”, an army of writers, bloggers and activists, perpetuating the myth of systemic racism.

This has gone on for a long time:

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

― Booker T. Washington

It can be argued, that teaching a generation of youth victim hood is the worst type of racism, because it sets them up for failure their entire lives. A victim mentality causes dependence, accountability is assigned to the group they identify with and this leads to the disempowerment of the individual.

The divisive rhetoric of these race baiters, divides the population into squabbling factions, creating hate, animosity and social conflicts. This is called Identity Politics.

When African slaves arrived in America, there were no white people here. European immigrants were called Christians. “Whiteness” was an invention of the colonial rulers, to divide the working class, African slaves from European indentured servants.

These race mongering social justice warriors were very vocal during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020. Yet, they are silent on the what causes the loss of most black lives. Of the 2925 blacks, who died of homicide in 2018 in the US, 2600 were killed by other blacks. [2018 FBI Homocide data]

Any individual, or organization that is truly concerned about black lives, ought to have the issue of inner city violence on top of their priority list. They refuse to address it, because it would destroy their narrative, defunding law enforcement leads to increased crime, not racial justice.

*Mr. Kendi is also an amazing business man, he was appointed head of Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research in 2020. Now the University is committing mass layoffs and lost $43 Million under his “leadership”.

**Soap dispensers work with infrared light, they don’t “see” skin color.

***We subsidize these universities with our tax dollars, paying these professors six figure salary, for coming up with this garbage?

Robin D. Angelo, author of “White Fragility”. She doesn’t look very happy. Do these people on some deep level know that they peddle fiction and they harm society?
